Working on Academy's 1/72 F-8 Crusader kit. Had to sand the fuselage a little to get rid of the seam. Unfortunately, there are a lot of panels with indents (rivets?) that got sanded away. How do you deal with the problem: ignore it, use a small drill and replace them or somehow fill all the others?

If it were me, I'd replace the rivets. These small surface details can make the difference between 'model' and 'toy' on the finished product! There are specialized ponce wheels made for this, like Rosie the Riveter, which can save your sanity when re-riveting!
